Today, he’s a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, husband, and father of five but his path wasn’t always clear. Coming to PWA at 13, Michael found the guidance, care, and mentorship he never had before.
After 22 years with Lasting Change and a successful leadership role at Crosswinds, Rachel Bowers could have stayed right where she was. Instead, she chose a new path—one that felt less like a career move and more like a mission.
For nearly 20 years, Pierceton Woods Academy has provided the young men we serve with education, counseling, and other rehabilitative services. Our work is guided by one central goal: returning students to their communities with a strong foundation for building brighter futures.
